The Gun Club
Description:
By far the easiest and best limestone crag that is close to Vegas for days when rain makes the sandstone at Red Rock off limits. The rock is quite sharp, with some routes worse than others.
Directions:
From Charlston Blvd, take I-215 North for about 10 minutes, then take the Cheyenne West exit. Pass a Chevron station, turn left on Alexander, you end up in a large parking lot. Park near the bridge at the far end. Hike up hill for 5 minutes, the Gun Club is the gully directly in front of you.
