Description:

Linley Valley/Rutherford bouldering area located in the north end of Nanaimo. It consists of 1 large boulder (Covid) with a second smaller boulder behind the large one (The Vaccine). There are 13 problems currently ranging from V0 to V6.

Enter Linley Valley from the end of Tanya Dr. Go past the barricade and follow the main gravel road straight for about 400 m, which will cross a small wooden bridge. The second junction in the trail will be an older dirt road. INSTEAD of following this junction, look ahead of you. There will be a small path leading into the bush. Go down this path, and you will arrive at Covid & The Vaccine! These boulders are very close to a crag called Logger’s Lane, which can be found by going right at the junction.
