Caliche

3 Sport Climbs

Description:

Caliche is a beautiful climbing area in a vast valley filled with limestone in the town of Ciales in the north of Puerto Rico. This crag has been one of the island gems since the 1990s. This small sport area has more than 40 sport lines between 5.7 and 5.13d. The short and clearly marked trail is easy to find, but there's not a lot of parking space.

A few classics have been rebolted with titanium when allowed by the first ascensionists.

Purchase the downloadable guidebook from Aventuras Tierra Adentro (http://aventuraspr.com/store/), though it's a little out of date.
