Crag is a single cliff band that stretches a few hundred meters. Developed section is in the open and receives sun in the afternoon. Rock is moderate to solid basalt with a few cracks offering intermediate to advanced climbing.
As of Spring 2023 most routes are quite overgrown, with the exception of Scoundrel and Dagobah, which were recently scrubbed.
The most remote crag in Nanaimo, with a 60-70 minute approach. Best way is from the end of Vipond Road. The logging roads in the Lantzville Foothills are an absolute maze and can be confusing, so your best bet is to use the map in the guidebook.
