Hall Siding
Description:
The classic roadside crag south of Nelson. A kind of Andesite, Rhyolite, Basalt Volcanic Mix of rock. Some compact awesome stuff and a bunch of sharp blocky stuff. The best routes tend to follow the compact face climbs. There is also a wicked steep boulder below called the ‘Hall & Oates’ Boulder with great rock.
Directions:
View on Map20 minutes south from downtown Nelson. Just past the Hall Siding community a few minutes past the Whitewater Resort turnoff. Epic approach of 10-25 steps.
