Kalymnos
Description:
Kalymnos is one of the world’s best-known sport climbing destinations, famous for its huge limestone cliffs, steep walls, tufas, pockets, and generally excellent rock. The island offers thousands of bolted routes spread across numerous sectors, with climbing available at almost every grade and in a wide variety of styles. The main climbing areas are concentrated around the villages of Masouri, Myrties, and Armeos, making it easy to combine climbing with restaurants, beaches, and island life. The season is particularly good in spring and autumn, when cooler temperatures make the steep limestone more manageable.
