I'm calling this the "second first ascent" on this amazing line :). I bolted it in 2019, and left it as I found the boulder problem in the middle too hard at the time. Regarding the grade, it is a hard one as the difficulty revolves around a hard (for me) boulder problem with good rests before and after. Strong boulderers might think it is soft, while endurance climbers might think it is sandbagged. As well height might come into play, the big moves might feel easier to taller climbers... Anyway as always grades are just a guess, and time will tell where it lands.

Beauty line, kudos to Ross for the first ascent so many years ago. I think 13b feels right. It took me many more tries than harder grades in the BV, but It's not a style I'm good at. I enjoyed the learning process on this one, finally stopped making mistakes and sent!

5 stars because I bolted it! :) Route just left of Dungeon Dweller. Nice shorty by coliseum standards.

First of the grade in about 6 years! What a beast of a route, it has a bit of everything, but the business revolves around an insecure stem corner and a pretty physical steep dihedral. Don't let your guard, down, the pump sets in at about the 40 meter point, you need to keep it together all the way to the chains!
