The Pirate – 5.12c ↑
Description:
The middle line of the crag. Starts up on good holds, followed by a precise powerful crux that guards the topout. Higher tide helps with the fear factor, but forces the high traverse in to the start which is a lot harder. Remember you can never un-top rope the rig.

2024-08-01Absolutely amazing route. Sad that it's over so soon. Working this thing water up was an incredible climbing experience. Went from feeling scared even just entering the crux on my first session to pumping off the last move to the lip the try before the send. So sick! Bit bummed to see ticked feet up high.
