Nine Hours Direct is a line between Nine Hours Later and The Kids are Alright as illustrated in the v2 HWLD guide. Heads directly out to the main face and then up without using holds from Kids (except the start hold). Direct came about because we were following what others were doing, later realizing it wasn't the intended line for Nine Hours Later. I suspect a lot of people think this intended line. Still, it's a fun problem with some big moves and probably a little harder than Nine Hours Later.
