  Holy Mormon god it was cold. Maybe this climb wasn’t quite hard enough to warrant me spending 30 minutes in a knee bar at the first bolt trying to figure out the sequence, but the rain washed away the chalk and the frigidness washed away the blood and all sensation from my fingers, so that’s what happened. Here with Jake and Gaby the day after Christmas since it rained 100% of the days I was here in St George, a “desert” (pfft... it rains less in Seattle). Spent 10% of my time with Jake’s family climbing and the other 90% playing games.
