Crack of Don – V0

Description:

*the line identified as 'Crack of Don' in the guidebooks, and on 27crags, is incorrect. The actual "Crack of Don' boulder is the last very large boulder on the west end of the main slide area. The slab faces west, and there is no mistaking the large and aesthetic feature once you see it.

See pic for topo:

Yellow = Crack of Don (D. McKeown, ~2005, V0, start using obvious crack. Follow the crack to a choice of exits, either gaining the lip out left and topping out early, or following the crack back right to peak of boulder. Can be started from a stand or a sit, or from down in the pit)

Blue = A Means to an End (start however you like using crack. Climb crack until you’re standing on block feature, then move right into exposed slab climbing)

Green = New Dawn Fades (stand-start in pit. Climb up and right to gain arete for a few moves, then back left to a committing slab finish)
