Description:
This excellent problem climbs the southeast arête on the
large boulder under the powerlines. Start with a high
left-hand edge and a small right sidepull and pull onto the
wall. Wrestle up the attractive prow with much technical
difficulty. Easier for the short!

2023-10-14What a fantastic problem! Such a uniquely shaped boulder curving up to this beautiful tall prow that has just enough holds to climb it in 2 huge moves. Originally I thought it must be harder than v8 but, when I finally got the beta just right, it felt like I could do it every time. The name in the book is spelled wrong. It’s Caracol not Caracal and when you know the meaning of this word, you know it must be the name.

2022-10-19Sick boulder. Tricky little arete balance. Loved this one. Graham added this into sendage under Caracol but that’s not how the book spells it. Really fun one that’s pretty basic but intricate at the same time
