East facing crag on the shore of the Bow River along the hiking trail below Tunnel Mountain. Left of the wall is another short crag with the first 5.11 gear route in Banff called Mini Gonda. The Wave is about 50 metres to the right and up a short hill. The rock is textured with chert, vertical to steep. ~10 minutes from the car, great views and well bolted.
If for some reason you need to rappel in to get gear or something, just hike left past the Mini Gonda route and up a faint trail and back right until at a large tree that you can rappel to any anchor. Not good for top-roping, but there is top access. Heads up for loose rock if you're rappelling in.
Approach as for the Black Band on Tunnel Mountain and continue until you reach the river. Follow the trail along the river past a boulder with a V4 on the left until you can see a crag in the trees. Walk 20 feet toward Mini Gonda and turn right along a trail to the obvious wall.
