An amazing Dakota Sandstone bouldering area located in an aspen grove just outside of Telluride.
Turn at the cattleguarded road adjacent to the shell station. Follow the steep dirt road to the first main pull off for the Eider Creek Trailhead. Hike up the trail 15 min to a defined trail branching right off the main trail. There should be several fallen logs blocking the trail. Walk over the logs and follow the trail into the aspen trees until you see a large treehouse. The boulders are in the surrounding area.
