Drive to the Alpental parking lot off exit 54 from I90. Take the Snow Lake trail until the signed fork where the main trail switches back to the right towards Snow Lake. Instead continue on the Western spur, crossing talus and/or Snow depending on season. Reaching the west side of the valley, ascend into Pineapple Basin. The Tooth will come into view on the far northwest side.
