Peak 2665
Description:
An alpine venue near Mt Fisher in the Kootenays. There are a collection of multi-pitch climbs that top out on the summit ridge of Peak 2665.
Directions:
4x4 vehicle required. See "Mt Fisher Trailhead" and "East Kootenay Rock Update" for approach details. Expect to do some exploring before finding the trailhead (faint pink flagging at a left-hand switchback). 2 hour hike from the trailhead, trail is well flagged. Gain an alpine bowl and hike to the headwall, then turn right to follow the bowl up to the climbs. Crampons and an ice axe are required for the final snow slope. Cross the bergschrund (caution) to gain the routes.
