From Ft. St James:
Follow Highway 27-Stuart Lake Hwy, all the way through town until it is possible to turn left on Stones Bay Rd.
The hiking trail is found on the right side a few kilometers down the road and is well signed.
The climbing trail is found almost at the very end of Stones Bay.
ACCESS: Most of Stones Bay Rd is private property, do not block driveways. There are 2 pullouts along the road available for parking. In the very unlikely event the pullouts are full, park in the hiking trail parking lot and hike in (7min).
The trail:
An uphill scree path on the right side of the road gains the climbing hiking trail. Take time to read the BC park signage on your way in.
