Description:

This is a new bouldering area in the Mt. Seymour Conservation Area near Deep Cove. Most of the problems are moderate. A great warm up area if you are on your way to climb at Quarry Rock or Cove Marina climbs.

Directions / Travel Info:

Take the Mt. Seymour Parkway exit off Highway 1 just north of the Second Narrows bridge. Follow Mt. Seymour Parkway and turn left at Mt. Seymour Road. Turn right at Indian River Drive and then left onto Indian River Crescent, which becomes Indian River Drive again. Drive three kilometres to the gravel lot on the left side of the road under the power lines. This is the same parking as for Quarry Rock. Park here.

Walk 50 metres farther down the road (hiking in the same direction as you approached in your car). Take the first trail on the right, which is the Baden Powell trail. Walk down the trail to the first set of stairs, turn right at the bottom. Approximate walk 5 minutes.
