Jack's Canyon
Description:
Great winter sport climbing area 30 miles south of Winslow, Arizona. The climbing is characterized by short bouldery limestone routes. Lots of fun 11's and 12's.
Directions:
View on MapFrom Flagstaff drive an hour east to Winslow, then south on 87 to the 314 mile marker. Go another couple hundred feet and look for a gate on the west side of the road. Go in here and drive to an obvious Y intersection. Go left here and drive the rough 2-wheel drive jeep track for about 5 minutes to reach the camping area and an outhouse. This is the main area known as Moenkopi. Guidebook can be found in Flagstaff.
