Jack's Canyon

Great winter sport climbing area 30 miles south of Winslow, Arizona. The climbing is characterized by short bouldery limestone routes. Lots of fun 11's and 12's.

From Flagstaff drive an hour east to Winslow, then south on 87 to the 314 mile marker. Go another couple hundred feet and look for a gate on the west side of the road. Go in here and drive to an obvious Y intersection. Go left here and drive the rough 2-wheel drive jeep track for about 5 minutes to reach the camping area and an outhouse. This is the main area known as Moenkopi. Guidebook can be found in Flagstaff.
