First known development was by Edmonton climbers including Dan A. and Terry P. in the early 2000's. Later explored by Greg C. and likely others. Red Deer climber Dan A. documented the established boulders and further developed the area starting around 2017, putting together a PDF topo. For unknown reasons, the new AB bouldering guide changed several names/details.
A popular day hike 39 km west of Nordegg turnoff; look for flagging/cairns and obvious sign on the north side of the highway beside the road, and park in the ditch. Easily find the creekside First Boulders 6-8 min or ~400 meters up the right side of the creek, following a worn trail beside the washout.
