Description:

This area features some of the best rock on the South Island. While the tides are a bit of a nuisance to negotiate, when you do it is well worth it. Located just a few kilometers before Jordan River this cave is home to some high quality hard lines.

To reach the cave drive west along the #14 highway past French Beach, until you pass the Point No Point Resort. Almost immediately after you pass the resort you will cross a bridge. Park along the highway here the cave is on the beach at roughly coordinates: (48.402161, -123.988388). There was at one point a fixed rope which allows you to descend to the beach I am not sure if it is still there.
