Head to East Sooke Park and park at the Aylard Farms Parking lot. Take the service road trail from the northwest end of the parking lot and follow it toward to ocean. The road/trail will eventually meet the ocean next to the Gazebo along the coastal trail. When the trail meets the ocean continue West (right). Follow the coast trail through for 5 minutes, as it weaves along the coast. When you find yourself adjacent to a small island just offshore, the trail will start going up hill directly inland. At the top of this hill there is a cut stump and the coast trail takes a sharp turn left with a small scramble up rocks. Instead of following the coast trail left, continue straight uphill on a faint trail; there will be some flagging tape further uphill as a marker. The trail is faint at first but improves as you move inland. After 150m or so, the trail crosses a gully and heads uphill, the cliff will soon come in to view.
