Hey Sailor – V9

Description:

Start with right hand sidepull edge under the mini-roof and left hand undercling/sidepull down near your feet. Slap through a couple of powerful moves on slopers/pinches until you can snatch the twin incuts in the middle of the face. Snag the lip of the boulder, and work your hands up and right in order to rock onto the slab.

The good temps this morning brought this little project to an unexpected end. Really enjoyed working out the moves from the start to the end. The broken hold at the top made finishing the problem a little spicy but all in all this boulder lived up to it's hype.

Watched the big jug a few moves into the stand start explode a little while after I sent. Apparently it's still around the same grade. Stand likely moved from easy/solid v5 to solid/upper v5. Full line probably is a similar case.

Fell off the stand a few too many times but happy it finally went. Didn't feel it was that compressy actually and took me a while to get comfortable latching the stand start finger bucket

Actually loved this line. Very cool positions with some slippy feet, classic limestone movement. Psyched to tick this off in a session!

Really fun climbing! Beautiful boulder. Big, compressive and punchy moves right off the deck into a lovely topout. Really enjoyed the process on this one.
