Go Ask Alice – 5.12d

34m / 112ft, 18 bolts

Start to the left of the yellow streak. Easy climbing to an excellent rest is followed by increasingly difficult moves (and clips) up the blank black wall. Surf around right and finish with a tricky fun mantel.

Mellow climbing to a great boulder finish. Probably a little soft compared to other Bow Valley climbs of the grade. 2nd go.

First of the grade? Ugh. Must be soft. Fun crux up high, climbing way left of the bolt line.

Second try. A little confusing as to the guidebook description (18 bolts) and the actual route (about 14-15). Found out that a lower anchor was added to avoid the slab runout at the top. Didn't really realize this until I did it. Apparently the top doesn't add much to the grade or route....not sure. Either way, great cruxy climbing.

Ok climb. I thought 20/35m was good, the rest of it just didn't do it for me. It appears really long but it is very fragmented as there are a number of no hands rests.
