Bipolar Circus – 5.12d

25m / 82ft, 11 bolts
FA: Tom Wright - 2018-11-12

Description:

Top tier of the Paradise wall: its easier/better to start off the detached pinnacle - you can reach across, clip and pull on from here. First half is fun, steep climbing to a no hands at the break. The top half is where it's at though - hard to read and technical - use slopers, dishes and legit two finger pockets to work your way up the blunt arete to a funky boulder problem guarding the chains. Approx 11 bolts - 25 metres.

What a treat to finish this off in November! This climb changes personality dramatically at the half way break and the off vert blunt arete has some amazing technical climbing and unique features.
