  ryanolson:   Move right on the small crimps up to a gaston crimp right behind the tree. Put your right heel up on the obvious edge and really sit on it. If you find the right heel and body position, you can easily move to the arete. Otherwise it feels impossible!

  Hardest V3 I’ve ever climbed. This was such a cool full circle moment for me! I first came to Squamish alone right after a breakup. I was warming up alone to try Easy Chair, so I found Dyke Surfer right behind it. I remember looking to my right at Superdyke, how hard and how terrifying it looked. I think I felt like I would never have the confidence to climb it. Today, with the right beta, it finally made sense! Thank you squamish, you are the gift that keeps on giving.
