  Yowza! I had done what ? Maybe 2 pitches before on gear and they were like 5.3, 10m tall and on gneiss, so anyways natural progression is to come to Yam with your bud and hop on a route neither of you have been on before and squint at the topo on your phone as you roast in the sun. What an experience! Thanks Jason for trusting me enough to invite me along and for showing me Yam can be lots of fun and only "kinda" scary... Definitely psyched to have now done at least one line on this face I'm sure I will be back with Jason again to try some other routes. P.S. Don't do this climb in Mastia's. Your feet with thank you after.

  Super fun day out with Andrew! Traverse of pitch 4 got confusing and spooky. Not sure if we were on route or not.

  Classic "5.8+" in the Rockies with Audrey Herbet! Would definitely not take a 5.8 trad climber on this haha. 2nd pitch was fun as chimney stemming, except the putrid rat piss that made me nearly spew! I started the traverse on the 5th pitch, missed the line of bolts that kept going downwards, and instead climbed up on a 10.CR pitch whilst wearing my partners climbing shoes (I forgot mine, first time ever) classic route finding on yam. My first time on yam and the stoke was so high! The last two pitches were my favourites with the fun as exposure and great grippy quality.
