adelaidekim: This sounds hella weird but putting a SHALLOW left heel was key. It felt so much easier to open up and rock over than having a deep, solid heel. I had a good deep heel for the opening moves and switched to a shallow heel after I got the right hand on the good hold lol -
NancyS: Move left heel to the right most part of the start hold before pulling hard to the left sidepull. Bump left up to crimp once hips are established above heel.

Greg Bauch: Set the heel deep and turn it over as far as you can and turn your head away from the rock. That will give you the reach
