Missing Toe – 5.10c

Description:

Great face climbing on slopey holds. Don't blow it going to anchors!

Originally graded a 10b, and formerly requiring a single piece of gear for the crack (and a scary topout). The name is a reference to an unfortunate lawn mower accident incurred by one of Ontario's most important route developer, Chris Oates (he's OK).

FA: Marc Bracken, Tom Valis (1988-1991)

Enjoyed the tenuous rest on slopers. Just scary enough.

Second go. Felt stiff for a warmup. Probably more fun when dry.
