Meconium – 5.12a
35m / 115ft, 16 bolts
If I hadn't tried this thing once two years ago it would have been my first 12 onsight... Thoughtful climbing with really good rests.
Great. 35m of fun
Much easier to do when the holds aren't all wet. Warm up draw hang send.
Nice into to the wall.
Good warmup and intro the Rockies limestone.
First 5.12 onsight! What a stellar climb!
Aggravated an old injury on second go and peeled off the high pinch move. Third go.
Draw-hang onsight. Tricky moves and difficult to read. Super fun climbing for sure. I felt accomplished after this one.
Great route. Easy to blow the onsight at the third bolt.
Lurpy (for me) crux down low, then great moderate climbing to the top. 2nd go.
A meandering journey.
Really fun long route with lots of rests!
First time to Planet X can't wait to go back, so amazing!!!
2nd go. OS burn I wasn't super excited about it, so lowered at the 6th draw. Soo happy I got back on, cause the top of this thing is amazing!! 35 metres of fun- psyched!
you don't want to know what the word meconium is! But don't let that dissuade you from getting on this climb!
One of the best 12a's I have climbed, this route is stellar. Thanks to Graham for critical beta at the third draw :)
Went the wrong way at the 3rd bolt and couldn't reverse :( Fell, lowered, and then went all the way to the top. Sigh...should have onsighted
sooo good and soo luckz to OS, the hardest OS fight for me in the Rockies..
Fun route - several boulder problems separated by a lot of easier ground.
Full value, So fun!
Wicked underrated route! Climb this OR DIE (but don't let me set your expectations too high or anything..) :)
Needed a little mental fortitude for this rig! Rad day. 35m long.
