One of Skaha's largest and most impressive walls has a relatively small number of routes and, sadly, few of them are actually worth doing. This is partially due to the quality of the rock, which is scaly and loose on the west face, but that crag's slightly out-of-the-way location doesn't help either. Most climbers come to adventure up the two-pitch gear route 'Slow Pitch' (5.10c), but 'Disparu' (5.11d) is an excellent two-pitch adventure sport climb up the south face. Hopefully, an ambitious local will adopt this cliff in the near future and help realize it's true potential. Conditions: The large, imposing Prow has two distinct aspects. Lily Pad lane is the area that starts 30m upstream from the main Cougar Crag sport climbing wall - there are two distinct walls with climbs on them. The second wall has a distinct Wolf Head feature that looms over you. We aren't bolting this on purpose as its completely detached, yet solid for now. There are currently 17 climbs in Lily Pad lane. There are 3 closed projects at the moment. The climbs are uniquely burly, often wet for the first two bolts and are all natural. Expect to get your rope wet even though there are dry "lily" rock pads set up under each climb. Almost all the climbs are in the 12 - 15m range with 5 to 6 bolts on each climb.. Due to the constant seepage at the beginning of most of the climbs, stick clipping the first or second bolt is generally recommended.
Cordova Bay is also known as Timber Lane in Peter Michaux's old guidebook. On Cordova Bay accessed via Timber Lane there are some short bouldering bluffs on the beach. The downside to this area is that when the tide is high it is inaccessible, so make sure to time the tides right. it is possible to climb the Timber Lane boulder until the tide is at 2 metres though you will have to wade on your way out. You can check the tides for the area at this link: http://www.tides.gc.ca/eng/station?sid=7140 This boulder has excellent rock, and some classic climbs, generally ranging from moderates and above. The easiest descent route for the following lines is to chimney down the backside behind The Prow (~V4). It can seem scary the first time you do it.
For free topos, photos, and all the info you need, visit www.revelstokebouldering.ca The boulders are found West of Revelstoke on the EAGLE PASS FSR (forest service road) off of the trans-canada HWY # 1. From the main intersection accessing Revelstoke (Victoria/Laforme and HWY 1) you must head West towards Kamloops on the HWY. You will cross the mighty Columbia River and reach the intersection for HWY 23 South/Westsyde RD. (also a set of lights) - this is where you restart your odometer!! Continue past the intersection for 7 km's and until you have JUST passed the second set of passing-lanes from town. Use the shoulder of the HWY to slow down and turn RIGHT onto Eagle Pass FSR. *If the road dead-ends in 100 metres, you've turned on the wrong road and turned too early!* The Eagle Pass road will perform switch-back immediately and climb up the slopes. Once you have gone 700 metres and you have crossed a dry creek (if your lucky) you will have reached an area to park at the edge of the Cut-block on the left. Pull-over and Park. From parking you will continue up the FSR 20 metres to the P-Boulder and trail-head marked with Cairns on the right side and upwards on the mountain-slope. Note: FSR 20 has been refurbished. You can park at the apex of the first switchback and walk along the gravel road for about 500m before it turns to a faint trail that leads you to the Warmups Area. Note: Bring a large brush and bring your friends to this area, with some love it can be a great bouldering spot!
This is a short crag with some interesting climbs. Unfortunately, it gets overlooked often because of its location and size, so some of the climbs need a scrub. It is also slow to dry and quick to grow moss, but it makes for a great quick hit and practice crag.
Cliff band that faces North. Crag offers moderate to advanced climbing. The rock is moderate to solid basalt with many cracks.
This is the second closet cliff to the road. It is just behind Huckleberry Lane.

A couple km's east of chase is a small pullout just after the gas station in the west bound lane. From the cross the road and head uphill towards the power lines. There's a few boulders below the scree field in the forest. The best boulder 'widow maker' is located near a small pocket of birch trees beneath the scree field.
First cliff on your left as you head towards Shady Lane.
A third wall about the same height and angle as Nautical Disaster sits about 100 metres past Timber Lane. It has been partially cleaned and there are many potential lines aside from the one completed. There is no really good way to descend, and the landing is rocky. Topping out is possible on the established line and seems possible on the projects as well, however this will leave you exposed without a great option for getting down. Maybe someone will come up with a solution as the wall itself is quite impressive. There is the option perhaps for a fixed rope or anchor (?) to be installed for a daring volunteer. The rocky landing does not feature anything large to the extent of the other areas after the rock fall of 2021 especially. A pry bar could remove much of the risk and make for some great climbing. Test holds.
