Zach Y: Maybe I'm crazy. Started matched with a left hand high on the low sidepull like most other people. Guide says to use the one with the polished scoops, which is the one slightly right that I started on. Started sitting with only a thin BD Drop Zone. First move felt like V4 and everything else after was easier. But 160+ sends and only two people calling it lower than a 6? I did it the same, if not more seated than any of the videos I saw and V5 seems generous. idk -
Daphne: Short beta - use the right foot nub before throwing for the jug. -
Dylan Smith: Start seated matched on foot long left facing side pull that sports two distinct and polished holds, pull extremely hard to hit bulbous gaston sloper with right hand. (V6 crux) -

Started one hand on sharper sidepull, one hand on rounded (like all the beta vids) which was super soft for 6.. Attempted to start matched lower but felt really awkward and contrived. Anyway, the moves above were fun -

Sort of feel like my send didn't count since I used the most chalked up bulbous side pull for start, but I think maybe you're supposed to use the lower sharpish sidepull? Either way rest of the climb is dope -

Tried this two years ago and it felt so hard. Finally got to the jug and learned to engage the shoulders and got to the top. Thanks to the Seattle group for the stoke. -
Hardest flash yet, defintely aim to work on my flashing skills. Nice when its not baking in the sun.

Felt impossible until it was easy. First move crux

I started left hand on the bulbous side pull and right hand below on a left facing crimp. The 4th edition guidebook specifies to start matched on the lower longer side pull, but it felt impossible and contrived in my opinion. Maybe the low start makes for a true V6, and higher start for an enjoyable V5. -
Lil solo sesh before/during the rain. Figured out the beta, then it started to drizzle and I started to rapid fire. Took a bit of a rest and then did it; holds were definitely not dry and the pads were definitely not under me when I cut feet and swung around on the big move to jug. The impending downpour inspired a level of try-hard I don’t usually unlock and that was very cool

Re-sent the correct low start way. I think it would be better to just start one move in and be a 3/4. -

Tricky first move and some serious skin shredding on the square cut crimps. Found a tall person sequence by bumping to the high Gaston from down low, then dicately walking the feet up to set up for the final deadpoint. -

The description says to start seated with diagonal side pulls. there’s like 8 diagonal side pulls. Just pick two that are comfortable and climb the rock climb! Enjoyable!

I repeated shortly after from the true low start - the proper V6 start. -
Started with two distinct holds on the long left facing diagonal side pull. This problem is V6 if you choose to do the first move crux.

I started this one from the rounded pinch/edge. I don't think that this start gives it the 6 grade. Kinda fun nonetheless.

I'm not sure why this gave me so much trouble in the past. The beta is about as obvious as it gets. -
