The Hole – V6
Description:
Start sitting in the hole under the overhanging face, matched in a huge undercling in the hueco. Climb straight out of the steep overhang with some foot trickery, finishing up the slab above.

Zach Y: Just went out right to the good crimp and got a left toehook sideways in the hueco. Then just worked left to the good hold and it's over. Got a high right foot and went high right on the sidepull. Flipped the left hand and pressed up until i could backstep and reach the jug high on the face. -
joek: Higher right heelhook beta (hook higher than you think is necessary) -
Chris Wong: Used a right heel hook and worked to a left side pull crimp and right hand on the rail then let it swing to get the right foot up high

Very grateful to all of the short beta out there that gave me insight on how to climb this problem with tricky beta when the span to the good hold is not possible. Very enjoyable moves that go from very improbable to doable.

Worth losing skin over!! Ended up trust falling into a flying toe hook catch on the send go. One of the coolest moves I;ve done outside. -

I was able to span to good crimp, but looks much harder if you can’t -

second go, super fun! and a spicy tensiony-mantle move. -

After a lot of thought, I retroactively changed this to a V7. V6 does not feel accurate for how hard and sustained this problem was. So many more difficult moves at my height (5'-3"). Classic and fun! -

Stoked on this one! Looks way easier than it was, probably 12 tries in 45 minutes. Big reach, bump, tension, grunt, mantel, and finally elation!
